Recruited as a pitcher by Head Coach Brad Walsh, Nicole “Nicki” Beaulac came to the University of Mary from St. Mary’s High School in Prince Albert, Canada, in the fall of 1992 to play softball for the Lady Marauders.

During her years as a Lady Marauder, Nicki helped to establish the winning tradition that still defines the University of Mary softball program. In four years as a starting pitcher she lost only one conference game and compiled a 57-16 record with an ERA of 1.03. Nicki earned many honors for her accomplishments on the mound. She is a four-time All-Conference pitcher, was named All-District 12 in 1993 and 1994 and All-Region in 1995 and 1996. In 1996, she was also named NDCAC Most Valuable Graduating Senior in Softball and Regional Pitcher of the Year.

Today Nicki is living in Saskatoon, Canada where she is a teacher and coach. She has one son, Seth.
