The most dominant University of Mary wrestler on the national stage, Jeremy Engelhardt captured a school-record three national championships and was close to a fourth. In four NAIA national tournaments, Engelhardt lost just one match, taking third at 167 pounds his freshman season in 1998 as the Marauders placed fifth. He began his run of three straight titles in 1999, capturing the 184 pound title as UMary finished fifth. Engelhardt then won two more titles – both at 184 – in 2000 and 2001. Both times the Marauders finished third in the country. Engelhardt is just one of three Marauders to win multiple national championships and one of six to be a four-time All-American.
