Jermain Decoste and Damonta Henry both had 10 points. Jimmy Roth led UIU with 13 points. After making just 10-of-25 shots in the first half, the Peacocks hit only 8-of-35 in the second half.

SATURDAY NIGHT'S ALRIGHT (FOR WINNING)
The Marauders have won all three of their Saturday games in 2015,  defeating Bemidji State 86-80, Northern State 80-76 and Upper Iowa 69-56 last Saturday.

DEEEEEE FENSE
Playing one of their better defensive games of the season, the Marauders held Upper Iowa to 29 fewer points than the Peacocks average in a 69-56 U-Mary road win. The Marauders limited the Peacocks to a 30 percent shooting, including an 8-of-29 mark behind the arc. U-Mary shot 50 percent from the floor and held a 42-35 edge on the boards.

50-50-50
In the U-Mary win at Upper Iowa, the Marauders made half of their field goals (28-of-56), half the team's three point attempts (6-of-12) and half of their free throws (7-of-14).

MAC ATTACK
The Marauders begin a four game homestand this weekend when St. Cloud State arrives at the MAC. Additionally U-Mary plays six of its next eight at home.

STAT STUFFER
Developing into one of the top all-around players in the Northern Sun, junior guard Marquealis Edwards picked up his second double double of the season in the Marauders win at Upper Iowa. For the season Edwards is 19th in the NSIC in scoring (13.0 PPG), 18th in rebounding (5.5 RPG), 4th in assists (4.1 APG) and 2nd in steals (1.9 SPG).

REJECTION COLLECTION
In just one-and-a-half seasons, Germain Decoste has cracked the Marauders career leader board in blocked shots (since 1989). The senior forward has 35 career blocks, tying him with Kurt Schwamp (1998-2000) for ninth. For the season the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., native is ninth in the NSIC with 0.9 blocks/game. He had 20 blocks last season in 20 games. The all-time school leader is Marc Hawley (1995-97) with 108... Decoste is also 8th in the NSIC in shooting percentage (.578) and averages 7.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.

CHANGE UP
After rolling with the same starting lineup of Chris Mason, Damonta Henry and Marquealis Edwards on the perimeter and Germain Decoste and Bryan Jefferson on the front line for the first five games of 2015, the Marauders swapped Alex Anderson for Henry in the win at Upper Iowa. It was the first career start for the senior guard.

NEW ROLE
Sophomore forward Bryan Jefferson made his first career start at Minot State and has remained in the lineup seven straight games. A key reserve much of the season, the Aurora, Ill., native has posted double figures in points in ten of the 13 games he has played. He has led the team in scoring four times and rebounding five while posting the team's first double double (25 points and 10 rebounds at Point Loma). Jefferson leads the team in rebounding (5.8/game), is third in scoring (11.1 PPG) and second in field goal percentage (.538). In the NSIC Jefferson ranks 3rd in offensive rebounds (2.8/game), 12th in rebounding and 15th in field goal percentage.

MY PRECIOUS
Treating the ball like Bilbo Baggins treats The Ring, the Marauders refuse to turn the precious over. U-Mary averages just 11.4 turnovers/game, the 27th-lowest figure in NCAA Division II and 9th fewest in the Northern Sun.

TURNING TURNOVERS INTO POINTS
In the 12 Northern Sun games this season, the Marauders have outscored the opponents in points-off-turnovers seven times.

CHARITY DISPARITY
In Northern Sun contests, U-Mary opponents have made as many free throws this season as the Marauders have attempted. The Marauders have taken 186 free throws while foes have made 186. U-Mary is 123-of-186 at the line (66.1 percent). Opponents are 186-of-254 at the line (73.2 percent).
