2013-14
Played in all 28 Marauders games in 2013-14 and started 18… Earned his first start against St. Cloud State on 12.14.13… Permanently moved into the starting lineup after Christmas break and proceeded to start the last 17 games of the season… Averaged 5.5 points per game, 5.1 rebounds and shot 56.6 percent from the floor… Led the team in field goal percentage, was second in rebounding and second in blocks (20)… Paced U-Mary in rebounds nine times with a season-high 14 in a 67-62 win at Minnesota Crookston on 2.7.14… Led the Marauders in blocked shots seven times, including a season-high four at Northern State on 2.21.14… Led U-Mary in steals four times… Reached double digits in points five times, including a season-high 12 points against St. Cloud State (1.17.14) and Bemidji State (2.8.14).

PRIOR TO U-MARY
A team captain and two year starter at Laramie County Community College, Germaine Decoste led LCCC to a record of 21-11 and the second round of the Region IX tournament as a sophomore in 2013. He averaged 9.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting 47.3 per cent from the floor. He scored a career-high 19 points against national-ranked Casper (WY) College on Nov. 16, 2012, and posted 12 rebounds against Lamar (CO) Community College on Feb. 23, 2013.

During his freshman season in 2011-12, Decoste averaged 5.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.
 
As a senior at Blanche Ely High School in Pompano Beach, FL, Decoste averaged 15 points and eight rebounds per game while leading his team to a mark of 17-6 in 2010-11. His efforts earned him second team Class 5A All-State recognition and first team All-Miami Area honors by the Miami Herald. He also was selected to play in the South Florida All-Star Classic and DHOP Tournament MVP.
 
The son of Antoine and Marie Decoste, Germain is a native of North Lauderdale, Fla., and plans to major in athletic training at U-Mary.
