BISMARCK, ND – After opening the outdoor season on the western border of South Dakota last weekend, the University of Mary men's and women's track & field teams head to the eastern side of the Mount Rushmore State for week two when the Marauders compete at the University of South Dakota Early Bird on Saturday, April 2.
The USD Early Bird will be held at the Lillibridge Track Complex in Vermillion, SD. Field events start at 10:30 am with track events commencing at 12 noon.

Competition includes scholar-athletes from 22 different schools plus a handful of post-collegians. Schools expected to compete include North Dakota, North Dakota State, Northern Iowa, Omaha, South Dakota State, Bemidji State, Concordia-Moorhead, Concordia-St. Paul, Dakota State, Dakota Wesleyan, Iowa Central CC, Iowa Western CC, Minnesota State, Minot State, Mount Marty, MSU-Moorhead, Northern State, Sioux Falls, Southwestern CC, Southwest Minnesota State, Mary, and Wayne State.
After the opening the season at the Yellow Jacket Spring Opener, several Marauders are among the top five on the NSIC leaderboard.
