Biography

2021-22 (Sophomore)
In Von Wald's second year at the University of Mary, he had PR's in the long jump (23'1) and triple jump (42'9). He placed 11th in the long jump and 20th in the triple jump at the NSIC Outdoor Championship. Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team.

2020-21 (Freshman)
As a freshman, Von Wald hit multiple PR’s in long jump and triple jump throughout the indoor season. Hayden carried into the outdoor season setting new PR’s in long jump (22’4) and triple jump (42’4). He got to compete at the outdoor conference meet to end his freshman year.

PRIOR TO UMARY
High School
State qualified in South Dakota Class B long and triple jump in the 2018 outdoor season. Regional champion in triple jump in 2018 outdoor season (41’8.5 ft). Regional champion in long jump in 2019 outdoor season (21’1 ft). Placed 6th at the South Dakota Class B state championships in long jump in 2019 outdoor season.
