Taylor Hestekin and
Courtney Dembrowski claimed a pair of wins for the University of Mary women's outdoor track & field team racing against a deep field at the University of South Dakota Early Bird meet and
D'Andra Morris posted a national qualifying mark her third different event this season.

Dembrowski blazed her way past the rest of the competitors in the 800 meter run, finishing in a time of 2:14.95 to win an event that featured 29 runners.

In a tight race for the top spot in the 1500 meter run, Hestekin was clocked in 4:31.41 to narrowly win the event by .53 seconds. The next closest competitor was another three seconds behind. Hestekin also placed 6
th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:19.02.

After posting NCAA provisional qualifying marks in both the long and triple jumps last Sunday at the Yellow Jacket Spring Open, Morris completed the trifecta in South Dakota. The All-American cleared the high jump bar at 1.70 meters to place third in the event. She has now met the NCAA qualifying standards in three different events. Morris also placed fifth in the long jump (5.58 meters).

Cali Modglin had a big day in the jumps. She was the runner-up in the triple jump with an effort of 11.76 meters on her second attempt of the day and also claimed 9
th in the long jump (5.26m)

Elizabeth Acheson placed second in the 400 meter run with a clocking of 56.40 and was the only NCAA D2 runner who placed in the top six.

Morgan Hertz cleared the 400 meter hurdles in 1:03.56 seconds to place second.

In the longest event for the Marauders,
Starlynn Costa claimed third in the 3000 meter steeplechase, finishing the grueling event in 11:18.32.
