Biography

2020-21
As a Sophomore, Acheson was indoor conference champion in the 800 and a 3rd place finisher on the 4x400 m relay. She qualified for the national indoor championships and finished 4th overall, receiving her first All-American honor. At outdoor conference Acheson was 5th in the 4x400 m relay, and conference champion in the 800 m run. She qualified for the outdoor national championships in the 800 and finished 5th, setting a new school record of 2:08.17 and receiving All-American honors.
 
2019-20
As a Freshman, Acheson was conference champion in the 600 m run at the indoor NSIC conference meet and 3rd place in the 4x400 m relay. She qualified for the NCAA indoor national championships in the DMR relay (canceled due to COVID-19).

PRIOR TO UMARY
High School

In high school, Acheson was a 6-year varsity cross country runner and 5-year varsity track participant. Acheson qualified for state track and field three years in her career and received 2nd, 4th, and 6th places in the 4x400 relay (2017-2019), 2nd in the 400 m dash (2018), and 1st in the 800 m run (2019). Acheson is a three-time recipient of the "most valuable player" award for Track and Field.

Personal
Elizabeth is the daughter to Amy and Todd Acheson. Graduate of Northfield High School in her hometown of Northfield, MN, Acheson is majoring in History with a minor in Spanish.
