Lovan jumped a season’s best and an NCAA provisional qualify distance of 6.04m in the long jump at the Stinger Open and set a new UMary record that stood since 1998. This performance led her to earn the NSIC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week and the North Dakota Petroleum Council UMary Athlete of the week. At the Northern Sun Indoor Track & Field Championships, she swept an 8^th place finish in the 60m and a 2^nd place finish in the Long Jump. She was an All-Region winner in the Long Jump and contributed to becoming part of the Women’s Indoor Northern Sun Conference Champions.

Lexus Lovan is a graduate from Graceland University in Lamoni, IA. As a redshirt senior, she is a NAIA 9x National Qualifier and a 4x All-American in the Long Jump and a 1x All-American in the 60m. She was captain of her team all 4 years and was named Honorable Mention and All-Conference by the Heart of America Athletic Conference. In addition, she was named Heart Field Athlete of the Week and Heart Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Throughout her career as a Yellow Jacket, she became a Conference Champion in the Long Jump, 60m, and 100m and was awarded for Most Points Scored at the 2019 Heart of America AC Indoor Track & Field Championships. Her collegiate personal records are 7.63 in the 60m, 11.89 in the 100m, 25.54 in the 200m, and 5.89m in the Long Jump. She resides in Johnston, IA and is the daughter of Rachel Lovan and Jeff Johannes. Lexus is pursuing a Masters in Kinesiology.
