Biography

2020-21 (Sophomore)
As a sophomore, Teresa’s cross country season was canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.  During her indoor and outdoor track seasons, Teresa raced everything from the 1500 to the 5K with her primary focus being the 5K. 
 
2019-20 (Freshman)
As a freshman, Teresa’s debut in the NSIC took place at the MSU Moorhead-Dragon Twilight meet where she covered the 4K course in a 16:03.  Teresa raced her first 6K at the Roy Griak Invitational and completed the season at the Conference Championship in Wayne, NE.  In her first indoor track season, Teresa competed in the mile multiple times, but her outdoor season was canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
 
PRIOR TO UMARY
Teresa Blote is a graduate of Saint Thomas More High School in Rapid City, South Dakota.  She was a part of the STM girls’ 5 consecutive 1st place finishes at the State Track Meet.  Teresa has been an individual qualifier at the State Cross Country Meet for 5 years with team finishes of 2nd-5th and State Champions.  She is the daughter of Mike and Laura Blote.  Teresa is pursuing a degree in Exercise Science and hopes to become a pediatric occupational therapist.
