2020-21 (Sophomore)
Folk competed her sophomore season in the 400m to 800m, as well as the 4x400m relay, at various meets. Off the track, Folk earned NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors and the Dr. Marla Behm Scholar award in her organic chemistry class.
 
2019-20 (Freshman)
Folk opened up her freshman season in the Dragon Twilight Invite but was shortly put on rehab a week later due to a knee injury. Folk rehabbed the rest of the season and prepared for indoor track.
 
After rehabbing most of her cross-country season, Folk was able to compete in her first indoor season. Folk competed the 600m and 800m run, along with a 4x400m relay, at various meets. While she didn’t have a PR, she was able to experience the collegiate race environment she missed in cross-country.
 
Folk redshirted her outdoor season due to Covid-19.

High School
She was a member of Minot High XC for six years and was a varsity and state athlete for four of them. Along with XC, she was involved in Minot High Track for four years, running sprints and mid distance as a varsity runner for three of them and state for two. She was captain her senior year for XC and the Distance Crew for track. Between her seasons of running, Folk was a member of Minot High Dance and Drill, Optimal Performance Training, and offseason power lifting. Besides running, Folk was involved in National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Student Council, FBLA, Student-2-Student, HOSA, and band.
 
Personal
Abby Folk is a graduate of Minot High School in Minot, ND and is the daughter of Patty and Joseph Folk. Folk is pursuing a double major in Mathematics and Biology with pre-med focus.
