Biography

2020-2021 (Seinor)
As a Senior, Feist worked hard among her teammates as the Pandemic discontinued their cross-country season. By the end of indoor track season, Lacey placed 2nd in the 5k and 6th in the 3k at th?e Indoor Conference Meet, racing both races three hours apart! Once the outdoor track season arrived, Lacey returned with a bang after not racing outdoor since she was a freshman due to an injury and the Pandemic. Feist placed 3rd in the 10k at the Outdoor Conference Meet after only attempting the race once prior. 
 
2019-20 (Junior)
As a Junior, Feist received All-Conference and All-Regional Awards for placing top 20. She was blessed yet again to participate in Cross Country Nationals in California, where she placed 5th on the University of Mary XC team. As Indoor Track Season came, Lacey placed 6th in the Conference in the 5k by pushing past the odds of possibilities when told to run in the slower heat. Regardless of the Corona-virus Pandemic, Lacey is making sure to get out to run and experience beautiful adventures along the way in small-town North Dakota. 
 
2018-19 (Sophomore)
As a Sophomore, Feist received 15th place at the XC Regional meet. Lacey was blessed to have participated in Pittsburg, PA for Cross Country Nationals and placed 46th overall. While pushing through a severe injury, Lacey eventually decided to redshirt the outdoor track season.
 
2017-18 (Freshman)
As a Freshman, Lacey Feist received 21st place at the XC Conference meet, barely missing All-Conference. At indoor conference she placed 9th in the 3k and placed 8th in the 5k at Outdoor Track and Field Conferences.
 
PRIOR TO UMARY
High School
In high school, Feist was a three-time all-state XC runner and member of the Bowman Hall of Fame. Feist qualified for state track and field three times in her career and received 8th place in the 3200 m run at the 2017 state meet. Feist is a five-time recipient of a "most valuable runner" award. Graduate of Bowman County High School in her hometown of Bowman, ND.
 
Personal
Lacey Feist is the daughter to Cindy and James Ornsbey. Feist is majoring in Biomechanics.
