Biography

PRIOR TO UMARY
High School
She began her running career as a freshman after retiring from 8 years of competitive gymnastics. After competing as a sprinter her freshman year, Alyssa moved to distance, earning multiple school records in both XC (2 mile, 3mile, 5K) and Track (1600, mile, 3200, 4x400, 4x800, SMR, DMR).  She qualified and competed at the 2019 WA State XC meet her junior year placing 4th and helping her team to a 4th place finish. In Track, Alyssa qualified and competed at State her freshman and sophomore years, losing out on competing her junior and senior seasons due to COVID-19.  She was selected as most valuable female runner three times and served as team captain in both XC and Track.
 
Personal
Alyssa Becker is the daughter of Lisa and Larry Becker and a graduate from Klahowya Secondary School in Silverdale, WA. Alyssa recently earned her CNA certification and will be majoring in Nursing.
