BURNSVILLE, MN – The Northern Sun awarded 65 University of Mary scholar-athletes NSIC All-Academic honors for the 2024-25 spring sports season. Forty-two Marauders were named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence and 23 earned NSIC All-Academic Team recognition.
 
Eighteen Marauders from the women's outdoor track & field football team, 14 from the men's indoor track & field team, nine from baseball, eight from softball, seven from men's golf, five from women's golf and four from tennis earned NSIC All-Academic team honors recognizing their work in the classroom.
 
To be eligible for the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, a student-athlete must have a 3.60 cumulative GPA or higher, while NSIC All-Academic Team members must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA or higher. Additionally, the student-athlete must be a member of the varsity traveling team, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at her/his institution (true freshmen, red-shirt freshmen and ineligible athletic transfers are not eligible) and must have completed at least one full academic year at that institution.
 
The Northern Sun honored 920 student-athletes with NSIC All-Academic recognition; 543 student-athletes received the Team of Excellence designation and 377 NSIC All-Academic Team honors.
