BURNSVILLE, MN – The University of Mary claimed a top four finish in the Northern Sun All-Sports standings for a fifth consecutive year. The Marauders 18 NSIC sports combined to roll up the 4th-most points in the 16-team league for the 2025-26 season.
The Marauders recorded 142 points with the UMary men's and women's programs closely mirroring one another. The eight UMary men's sports finished third overall with 60 points. The ten UMary women's programs earned 82 points to finish in a tie for fifth.
Since the 2021-22 season, this is the fourth time in five seasons UMary has finished fourth in the NSIC All-Sports standings. UMary claimed a program-high third place in 2023-24.
UMary closed out the 2025-26 NSIC athletic season in impressive fashion. The women's track & field team was the runner-up at the 2026 outdoor championships with the men's outdoor track & field team and baseball both placed third. Additionally men's golf and tennis placed sixth, women's golf ninth and softball sixteenth.
During the 2025-26 winter season, UMary's women's track & field placed second at the indoor championships, men's track & field and women's basketball both claimed fourth, wrestling fifth, swimming & diving sixth and men's basketball sixteenth.
In the 2025 fall sports season the Marauders placed fourth in the NSIC in men's cross country, fifth in women's cross country, seventh fifth in women's soccer, tenth in football and fourteenth in volleyball.
The NSIC All-Sports Award is calculated by awarding the winner of each conference-sponsored championship points totaling the number of teams in that sport plus one. The next place finisher receives points totaling the number of teams less the number of places from first place. Ties in the standings at any level result in the totaling of points and equal distribution.
