PUEBLO, CO – Having already secured the opportunity to race on championship Saturday,
Raheem Taitt-Best fell just short in his hopes to compete in a second final event at the 2025 NCAA Division II Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
On Thursday, Taitt-Best secured his spot on championship Saturday as part of the Marauders 4x100 meter relay team. The UMary quartet claimed a spot in the finals after posting the ninth-best time of the day to snare the final slot in the title race.
On Friday, Taitt-Best took to the track to compete as an individual in the 200 meter dash. The Marauders record-holder in the 200 finished 17
th in the nation with a clocking of 21.15 seconds.
On Saturday Taitt-Best will combine efforts with
Jorgen Paulson,
Xavier Ifill and
Michael Cartwright to pursue a top-8 finish and All-American honors in the 4x100 meter relay.
