WEST FARGO, ND — Four Marauders earned conference points for the University of Mary swimming and diving team on day three of the 2025 NSIC Swimming and Diving Championships. The Marauders are in 8th place in the standings with 180 team points.
Samantha Sheridan finished seventh in the 500 yard freestyle, recording a time of 5:08.67.
Madeline Desmond (58.74) took 15
th in the 100 yard backstroke, and
Maria Strong (59.90) followed in 16
th place.
Felicity McCallen placed 13
th in the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:16.42.
The team of
Michaela Desmond,
Kamya Smith,
Amber Norgaard and
Sarah Bernasconi finished eighth in the 200 yard Freestyle Relay, posting a time of 1:40.39.
Augustana University leads the competition with 652 points, followed by Minnesota State University, Mankato (586), St. Cloud State University (486.5), University of Sioux Falls (469), Concordia University, St. Paul (288.5), Minnesota State University Moorhead (262), Southwest Minnesota State University (182), UMary (180), and Northern State University (133).
UMary is back for the final day of the NSIC Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday, February 14, in West Fargo, ND. Prelims begin at 10 am and finals are set for 5:30 pm.
