WEST FARGO, ND –
Olivia Gibbons continued her excellent freshman campaign, earning All-Conference status on day three of the 2026 NSIC Swimming and Diving Championships. The University of Mary swimming and diving team remains in sixth place after day three of the NSIC Championships with 296 team points.
Gibbons placed third in the 100 Yard Breaststroke, recording an NCAA B cut time of 1:03.66.
The Marauders took the bronze medal in the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay as the team of
Maria Strong,
Peyton Wunderlich,
Emma Sheppard, and Gibbons posted a time of 1:34.45. The UMary B team of
Michaela Desmond,
Jordn Wolsky,
Elise Altringer, and
Taylor Miller (1:38.69) placed 14
th.
Samantha Sheridan took seventh in the 500 Yard Freestyle, posting a time of 5:08.57.
The 100 Yard Backstroke saw
Teresa Cavanaugh finish 15
th with a time of 58.77.
Lola Sheridan grabbed a 13
th-place finish in the 200 Yard Butterfly after she recorded a time of 2:15.43.
Minnesota State University, Mankato leads the competition with 825.5 points, followed by St. Cloud State University (539.5), Augustana University (424), University of Sioux Falls (352), Concordia University, St. Paul (306), UMary (296), Minnesota State University Moorhead (252), Southwest Minnesota State University (214), University of Jamestown (178), and Northern State University (133).
The Marauders return for day four of the NSIC Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday, February 14, in West Fargo, ND. Prelims begin at 10 am, and finals are set for 5:00 pm.
