WEST FARGO, ND –
Maria Strong finished runner-up in the 100 Yard Butterfly to earn all-conference honors at day two of the 2026 NSIC Swimming and Diving Championships. The University of Mary swimming and diving team is in sixth place after day one of the NSIC Championships with 208 team points.
Strong finished the 100 fly with a time of 56.80, finishing .04 seconds off the winner.
Peyton Wunderlich took fifth with a time of 57.56.
Elise Altringer placed 14
th in the 200 free, recording a time of 1:56.54.
The team of

Natalie Dehring,
Jordn Wolsky, and Altringer grabbed 16
th in the 400 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 4:01.39.
Minnesota State University, Mankato leads the competition with 565.5 points, followed by St. Cloud State University (384.5), Augustana University (255), University of Sioux Falls (255), Minnesota State University Moorhead (216), UMary (208), Concordia University, St. Paul (207), Southwest Minnesota State University (153), University of Jamestown (119), and Northern State University (97).
The Marauders return for day three of the NSIC Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday, February 12, in West Fargo, ND. Prelims begin at 10 am, and finals are set for 5:00 pm.
