Valentine's Day dual wraps up Marauders regular season when Wolves visit MAC

BISMARCK, ND – With hopes of posting their first winning season overall and in conference since joining NCAA Division II and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, the University of Mary hosts Northern State University in the final dual of the season for UMary. The Marauders and the Wolves tangle at 7 pm on Wednesday, February 14, in the McDowell Activity Center.

On a night full of activities, Wednesday's dual with the Wolves is also Senior Night as three Marauders will make their final appearance as the MAC. Designated a White Out, fans are encouraged to wear white.

Additionally the BEK Broadcasting Network is televising the dual state-wide in North Dakota. It is believed to be a first for Marauders wrestling at the MAC. Jordan Hassler of BEK will call the action with the assistance of former high school coach and DakotaGrappler.com creator Jon Gums.

The Marauders enter their final dual of the season with a record of 7-6 overall and 4-3 in the NSIC. A win over the Wolves provided the Marauders their first winning record overall and in the NSIC since UMary began competing in the NCAA in 2006-07. Last season the Marauders finished 8-8 overall and 3-5 in the NSIC. The eight wins overall is the Marauders NCAA high-water mark.

UMary has already established a mark for most conference wins in a season with four, exceeding the previous high of three set last year. Another win will equal last year's total of eight victories overall and keep the Marauders with a winning percentage above break even.

Prior to tonight's dual at Minot State University, the Wolves are 2-12 overall and 0-6 in the NSIC.
