As a true freshman, Jackson earned a 12-19 record as the 184 pound starter with two major decision, one fall and 31 takedowns. Jackson finished as the champion of the Dragon Open, runner-up at the Jimmie Open, and made it to the second day of the NCAA Super Regional 3 tournament.
