A NSIC All Scholar Athlete, Luisa swam season-best times of 26.72 in the 50 free, 5:31.91 in the 500 free and 4:53.08 in the 400 IM at the 2019 Augustana invitational. Finished 1
st in 200Fly, 3
rd in 1000, and 4
th in 200IM vs SMSU. Recorded Top 10 Times in 200Fly and 1000 at USF, AU, NSU, UM Quad.
2018-19 (Sophomore)
As a NSIC All Scholar Athlete, Garcia had career best times of 2:13.92 in the 200 Fly, 4:47.32 in the 400 IM, & 1:04.24 in the 100 IM at the NSIC Championships.
Posted a season best time of 11:02.07 in the 1000 Free at the NSIC Championships
Placed 13
th at the NSIC Championships in the 200 Fly
Had 14 top 5 finishes in dual meets
Won the 1000 Free & 100 Breast against Concordia College
2017-18 (Freshman)
Luisa Garcia, Freshman (Freestyle, Fly): At the first meet of the season a triangular against Northern State & Augustana, Garcia had a 2
nd place finish in the 1000 freestyle, a 3
rd place finish in the 500 free, and a 4
th place finish in the 400 IM against Northern. Competing in a Dual meet with Minnesota State Moorhead, Garcia claimed top honors in the 1650 and had a 4
th place finish in the 100 fly for the Marauders. In the dual meet with Augustana, Garcia had a 4
th place finish in the 500 freestyle & a 5
th place finish in the 200 fly. Next up was a dual meet against Northern State where Garcia had 5
th place finishes in the 200 & 500 freestyles. Against Concordia College, Garcia had a 2
nd place finish in the 200 freestyle & a 3
rd place finish in the 200 IM. During the Dragon/Cobber Invite Garcia competed in the freestyle events for the Marauders and had finishes of 8
th in the 1650, 12
th in both the 200 & 500, and also had a 9
th place finish in the 400 IM. Next up was the Dragon Invite where Garcia helped the team finish in 2
nd place with finishes of 7
th in the 1000 freestyle, 8
th in the 1650 freestyle, & 14
th in the 200 freestyle. At the 2018 NSIC Championships Luisa scored points for the Marauders was who placed 16
th in the 400 IM at the NSIC Championship. Luisa had a great first season with the Marauders swimming distance freestyle and butterfly events for the team.

Competed for Premier Aquatics Club Klein (PACK). Top times: 200 fr 1:59.34, 500 fr: 5:17.71, 1000 fr, 10:56.79, placed 4
th in both the 100 fr & 200 fr at the Texas High School state meet as a senior. coached by Mike McCauley. A native of Mexico City, Mexico. Member of the National Honor Society. Serves as a church's teacher aid for Confirmation and church leadership group.

She has had a great high school career and the work ethic and potential to develop in a great college swimmer.
