A NSIC All Scholar Athlete, Madalyn had 2 top5 finishes in dual meets. Recorded career best time in 50 Bk at NSIC Championships and swam season-best times of 25.23 in the 50 free, 56.01 in the 100 free, 2:01.94 in the 200 free, 28.34 in the 50 back and 1:02.58 in the 100 back.

2019-2020 (Sophomore)
A NSIC All Scholar Athlete, Madalyn swam season-best times of 55.69 in the 100 free, 2:00.34 in the 200 free and 1:02.06 in the 100 back. Posted a season-best time of 25.11 in the 50 free. Five top 5 finishes in dual meets.

2018-19 (Freshman)
Posted career best times of 25.03 in the 50 Free, 2:01.16 in the 200 Free, & 1:02.34 in the 100 Back at the NSIC Championships
Posted a career best time of 56.32 in the 100 Free at the Dragon/Cobber Invite
12 top 5 finishes in dual meets
A part of the 800 Free Relay that set a pool record at South Dakota State

High School
Mady Scherwinski is an All-League swimmer from Camas, WA. She has experienced a great deal of success in her high school career. Mady has earned 2nd team All-League honors in the 500 free and was a key member of her school's 400 free relay team that set a new district meet record this past season.
 
"Mady will fit in well in the sprint & middle distance freestyle events at UMary," said McCallum. "She has a very positive personality and is very committed to making the team better. We are very excited about Mady's future as a Marauder."

Madalyn is the daughter of Paul and L’Rae Scherwinski and is studying Mathematics and Chemistry, minor in research.
