Posted season-best times of 56.82 in the 100 free, 1:05.30 in the 100 fly, and 2:23.79 in the 200 fly at the NSIC Championships. Loel had one top 5 finish in dual meets.

2018-19 (Freshman)
Posted career best times of 26.31 in the 50 Free, & 2:01.55 in the 200 Free at the NSIC Championships
Had a career best time of 56.62 in the 100 Free at the Dragon/Cobber Invite

High School
Abby Loel is an Arizona High School State qualifier competing for Arcadia High School. The Phoenix, AZ, native also swims for the Phoenix Swim Club and led her team to a 4^th place finish this past season. Loel has won several awards throughout her swimming career and is a two- time recipient of the Coaches Award.

"Abby is a swimmer we are very excited to have join our program," said McCallum. "She is coming off of a great senior year where she really improved and dropped significant amounts of time. Abby is very passionate about swimming and is a swimmer we see a great deal of potential in. She is going to able to contribute to the program in several different events and we look forward to building off of her great senior year."

The additions of Dudley, Jackson, Klundt and Loel increase the Marauders 2018 recruiting class to nine. In December the team announced the commitments of Courtnay Kiecker (Jamestown, ND), Andrea Lee (Moorhead, MN), Victoria Murillo (Cancun, Mexico), Mady Scherwinski (Camas, WA) and Clare Siverts (Redondo Beach, CA).
