2020-21 (Senior)
Andrea was a Team Captain, a NSIC All Scholar Athlete and a School Record Holder: 200/400 FR. Smith won the 100 butterfly in the UMary Pentathlon. Finished top 5 in the 50 Free vs NSU.
Swam season-best times of 25.94 in the 50 free, 55.37 in the 100 free and 1:01.11 in the 100 fly. NSIC finalist in 100 Fly. Contributed on the 200 MR (13^th), 400 MR (13^th), 200 FR (12^th), 400 Fr (12^th) at NSIC Championships.

2019-20 (Junior)
As a NSIC All Scholar Athlete, Andrea swam season-best times of 24.99 in the 50 free, 54.86 in the 100 free, 2:01.74 in the 200 free at the Augustana Invitational. Posted a career-best time of 59.34 in the 100 fly at the NSIC Championships. Smith had five top 5 finishes in dual meets.

2017-18 (Freshman)
At the first dual meet of the year Smith had a 2^nd place finish in the 100 freestyle against Northern State. During the dual against Minnesota Moorhead, Smith finished 5^th in the 200 fly. Smith had a 5^th place finish in the dual meet against Augustana. Against Northern State, Smight finished 5^th in the both the 100 fly & 100 free. During the dual meet with Concordia College, Smith finished 2^nd in the 100 fly & 4^th in the 100 backstroke. At the Dragon/Cobber Invite, Smith had finishes of 11^th in the 50 freestyle, 14^th in the 200 freestyle, 9^th in the 100 freestyle, & 7^th in the 100 fly.  During the Dragon Invite Smith finished 13^th in the 100 freestyle & 14^th in the 100 fly helping the Marauders to a 2^nd place team finish. At the 2018 NSIC Championships the Marauders opened the day with an eighth place finish in the 200 yard freestyle relay. Karyssa Nelson, Houston, Williamson and Andrea Smith combined for a school record mark of 1:39.73. The 400 yard medley relay team of Zajdzinski, Williams, Houston and Smith that placed 10^th. The Marauders finished the day with a school record in the 800 yard freestyle relay. Mary Williamson, Kate Murphy, Andrea Smith and Boese placed ninth overall in a time of 7:58.77. The Marauders closed out the 2018 championships with an eighth-place finish in the 400 yard freestyle relay to earn a spot on the podium. Alyssa Boese, Abbey Zajdzinski, Andrea Smith and Nelson combined for a time of 3:38.74. It was the second-best finish for a UMary relay at the championships. Andrea had a great first season with the Marauders and she helped the team in the freestyle and butterfly events.

PRIOR TO UMARY
High School
Earned All-Eastern Dakota Conference honors as a senior at West Fargo High School. Placed fourth in the 100 yard fly and 6^th in the 200 yard freestyle at the North Dakota High School State Meet as a senior. Owns team records in the 200 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 200 free relay and the 400 free relay. Three-time team captain. Also competes with the West Fargo Flyers club team.
"Andrea is coming off of a great senior year where she made some nice improvements in her fly and sprint freestyle events," said Marauders head coach Allan McCallum. "She adds talent and depth to some key events for us. We see a lot of potential in Andrea and are excited about the impact that she will make in our program. We are thrilled to have her join the Marauder family."

Andrea is the daughter of Julie and Mike Smith and is studying Elementary Education and Mathematics Education.
