BISMARCK, ND - The University of Mary volleyball team opens their homecoming week at home against the (RV) University of Jamestown on Tuesday, September 29, at 6 pm in the McDowell Activity Center.

THE RECORD
The Marauders are 4-10 overall and are 2-4 in the NSIC. They are currently in a three-way tie for 10^th place in the conference standings.

LAST TIME OUT
The Marauders split their games last week, sweeping (25-22, 25-17, 28-26) Minot State University and falling in three sets (25-20, 25-13, 25-14) to Northern State University. Holli Klettheimer and Judith Burke both had 13 kills against the Beavers.

STAT LEADERS
Judith Burke has the most kills (144) on the Marauders. Burke ranks 15^th in the NSIC in total kills and 16^th in kills per set (3.06).

Holli Klettheimer has the highest attack percentage (.207) and blocks (31) on UMary, to go along with 97 kills.

Natalie Boehmer has dished out a team-best 446 assists. Boehmer is 6^th in the NSIC in total assists and in assists per set (9.49).

Karina Hixon has posted a team-high 108 digs.

Dani Highum has recorded the most aces (12) on the team.

OPPO RESEARCH – UJ
The University of Jamestown is 11-3 overall and 4-2 in the Northern Sun. The Jimmies are sixth in the NSIC standings and have received votes in the most recent AVCA coaches' poll (Sept. 21). Senior outside hitter Gracie Adamson leads the team in kills (168) on a .193 hitting percentage. Junior opposite hitter Caroline Puetz holds the most blocks (51) on UJ. Senior defensive specialist Sophie Ketterling leads the NSIC in digs (305) and digs per set (5.75).

KLETTHEIMER NAMED PLAYER TO WATCH
The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference announced that junior middle blocker Holli Klettheimer has been named the Player to Watch for the University of Mary volleyball team for the upcoming 2026 season. Klettheimer led UMary in attack percentage (.273) last season and contributed 150 kills. The Frankton, IN, native recorded 53 blocks, including a team-best eight solo rejections.

RETURNERS
The Marauders bring back nine returners from last year's team. Returning alongside Klettheimer are Chloe Solheid, Karina Hixon, Judith Burke, Dani Highum, Natalie Boehmer, Shea Barron, Myra Newman, and Lily Peterson.

Burke led the team last year in kills with 313. The most kills any Marauder has had since 2017.

Highum was the team leader in serving aces, recording 29. The most aces for a Marauder since 2023.

NEW FACES
Coach Frost and his staff added seven freshmen and one transfer to the mix for the 2025 season. Sophia Heringer, Adella Dehring, Maddie Beaudrie, Peyton Hohn, Loretta Tisch, Ruby Rengo, and Norah Thome will each look to make an impact in their debut college season.

Gabrielle Reynolds transfers to UMary from Cameron University. The junior outside hitter posted 70 kills and 10 blocks for the Aggies.

THE STAFF
Rob Frost enters his second year as the Marauders head volleyball coach. The Marauders improved on their season and conference win totals in his first season at the helm.

A native of Ohio, Frost spent the 2024 season as an assistant coach at Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN. Frost's head coaching résumé includes leading Bethel University (IN) in 2023 to a 26-7 overall record and a 13-5 mark in conference play. The Pilots reached as high as No. 15 in the national poll and qualified for the NAIA national tournament.

Maddie Callicoat returns for her third season as an assistant coach for the UMary volleyball program.

MARAUDERS PICKED TO FINISH 14TH IN THE NSIC
The 2026 NSIC Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll projected the Marauders to finish 14th in the conference for this upcoming season. Last year, UMary took 14th in the NSIC after finishing the season with a 6-22 record overall and a 3-17 record against Northern Sun competition.
