BISMARCK, ND – The University of Mary volleyball team prepares for a split week as the Marauders welcome in-state rivals Minot State University to the McDowell Activity Center on Thursday, September 24, at 6 pm. The Marauders then travel to Aberdeen, SD, to challenge Northern State University on Saturday, September 26, at 6 pm.
JERSEY NIGHT
Thursday night against Minot State is "Jersey Night" for the Marauders. Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite jerseys and will be entered to win a Which Wich gift card.
THE RECORD
The Marauders are 3-9 overall and are 1-3 in the NSIC. They sit in a tie for 11
th place in the conference.

LAST TIME OUT
The Marauders picked up their first conference win of the season, defeating the University of Minnesota Crookston on the road in three sets (25-21, 25-21, 25-15).
Judith Burke had a career night, recording 19 kills on a .472 hitting percentage in only three sets.
Holli Klettheimer also contributed seven kills on a .400 attack percentage. UMary then fell 3-0 to Minnesota State University Moorhead.
STAT LEADERS
Judith Burke has the most kills (126) on the Marauders. Burke ranks 14
th in the NSIC in total kills and 16
th in kills per set (3.07).
Holli Klettheimer has the highest attack percentage (.333) and blocks (23) on UMary, to go along with 78 kills. Klettheimer is 17
th in the conference in hitting percentage.
Karina Hixon has posted a team-high 97 digs.
Natalie Boehmer has dished out a team-best 384 assists. Boehmer is 6
th in the NSIC in total assists and in assists per set (9.37).
Dani Highum has recorded the most aces (11) on the team.
OPPO RESEARCH – MSU
Minot State is 3-9 overall and 0-4 in the NSIC. The Beavers are currently tied for 15
th in the conference standings. Senior outside hitter Caton Pearcy has the most kills (97) on MSU. Sophomore middle blocker Kiera Hayes has recorded the most blocks (25) on the team. Junior libero Maya Vibeto leads the Beavers in digs (224).
OPPO RESEARCH – NSU
Northern State is 8-4 and 3-1 in the conference to open the season. The Wolves are in a tie for third place in the NSIC standings. Junior outside hitter leads NSU in kills (169) on an impressive .321 hitting percentage. Freshman middle hitter Lydia Nelson has recorded the most blocks (35) on the team. Sophomore libero Ashley Yost has posted the most digs (187) on the Wolves this season.
KLETTHEIMER NAMED PLAYER TO WATCH
The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference announced that junior middle blocker
Holli Klettheimer has been named the Player to Watch for the University of Mary volleyball team for the upcoming 2026 season. Klettheimer led UMary in attack percentage (.273) last season and contributed 150 kills. The Frankton, IN, native recorded 53 blocks, including a team-best eight solo rejections.
RETURNERS
The Marauders bring back nine returners from last year's team. Returning alongside Klettheimer are

Burke led the team last year in kills with 313. The most kills any Marauder has had since 2017.
Highum was the team leader in serving aces, recording 29. The most aces for a Marauder since 2023.
NEW FACES
Coach Frost and his staff added seven freshmen and one transfer to the mix for the 2025 season.

Gabrielle Reynolds transfers to UMary from Cameron University. The junior outside hitter posted 70 kills and 10 blocks for the Aggies.
THE STAFF
Rob Frost enters his second year as the Marauders head volleyball coach. The Marauders improved on their season and conference win totals in his first season at the helm.
A native of Ohio, Frost spent the 2024 season as an assistant coach at Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN. Frost's head coaching résumé includes leading Bethel University (IN) in 2023 to a 26-7 overall record and a 13-5 mark in conference play. The Pilots reached as high as No. 15 in the national poll and qualified for the NAIA national tournament.
Maddie Callicoat returns for her third season as an assistant coach for the UMary volleyball program.
MARAUDERS PICKED TO FINISH 14TH IN THE NSIC
The 2026 NSIC Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll projected the Marauders to finish 14th in the conference for this upcoming season. Last year, UMary took 14th in the NSIC after finishing the season with a 6-22 record overall and a 3-17 record against Northern Sun competition.
