BISMARCK, ND – The University of Mary women's track and field team hit personal bests left and right at the Marauders Tune-Up, winning the meet. The UMary Fieldhouse was the site of the meet on Feb. 21.
Laila Cleare earned an NCAA provisional mark in the 60m Dash with a 7.51, winning the event. She remains 16
th in the nation and has the second-best time in the NSIC. The senior also won the 200m Dash with a 25.11, placing her in a tie for 6
th in the conference.
Anna Bruno won the Long Jump with a 5.79m, an NCAA provisional mark. She is currently 8
th in the conference and 29
th in the nation.
Makayla Allmaras had her career-best performance in the 60m Hurdles, winning with an 8.85. She's now 10
th in the conference in the event.
Kaydee Boyce was right behind her in 2
nd with a PR of 9.00, placing her 12
th in the conference.
Freshman
Maria Ringhand earned her first career victory, winning the 600m Dash. Her time of 1:41.85 is a PR.
Holly Fromherz, a junior, took home her first win with a PR in the Mile. She was victorious with a 5:29.14.
Anna Nasset picked up a pair of wins in the High Jump (1.63m) and Triple Jump (10.99m). She is 7
th in the conference in the High Jump and 20
th in the conference in the Triple Jump.
Siena Lambert moved to 21
st in the conference in the Weight Throw with a 15.38m throw, a personal best.
Kaydee Boyce is now 13
th in the conference in the Shot Put, finishing with a 12.71m throw.
