Gavin Argent earned one more accolade in his final season with the Marauders as he was named to the All-NSIC 2
nd Team.
Argent had a fantastic season with UMary. He had five top-five finishes, including three top-three finishes. In fact, Argent was outside of the top-20 only once this year in 11 meets.
The Minot, ND, native concluded his season with an even-par third round at the NSIC Championship, moving up six spots on the leaderboard to take 17
th.
This season, Argent received the NSIC Elite 18 Award for his 3.98 GPA in his mechanical engineering degree. He was also a Myles Brand Award winner due to his academic success. At the University of Mary's Night of Champions, Argent received the Al Bortke Award and was named the Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Argent is the first All-NSIC honoree for UMary since Brad Shetler in 2007.
