BURNSVILLE, MN – University of Mary men's golf senior Gavin Argent earned one more accolade in his final season with the Marauders as he was named to the All-NSIC 2^nd Team.

Argent had a fantastic season with UMary. He had five top-five finishes, including three top-three finishes. In fact, Argent was outside of the top-20 only once this year in 11 meets.

The Minot, ND, native concluded his season with an even-par third round at the NSIC Championship, moving up six spots on the leaderboard to take 17^th.  

This season, Argent received the NSIC Elite 18 Award for his 3.98 GPA in his mechanical engineering degree. He was also a Myles Brand Award winner due to his academic success. At the University of Mary's Night of Champions, Argent received the Al Bortke Award and was named the Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

Argent is the first All-NSIC honoree for UMary since Brad Shetler in 2007.
