JAMESTOWN, ND – Steady play across 18 holes earned University of Mary men's golf junior
Aiden Knodel the individual title at the one-day UJ Fall Invite held at the Jamestown Country Club. The Marauders as a whole dominated the day, with seven of the top-10 finishers representing UMary.
Knodel had a strong finish to his day to bring home the victory, hitting a birdie on two of his final three holes. That was enough to bring him under par for the day, the only golfer in the field of 44 to do so. The junior from Fargo had three birdies in total.
Tying for second behind Knodel at an even par 72 were UMary's
Carson Fagan,
Evan Booth, and
David Thomson. At 73 (+1) and tied for 6
th were
Lucas Greenlun,

The Marauders will be heading to Montana after the weekend, taking part in the Yellowjacket Invitational hosted by MSU-Billings. The tournament will take place at Lake Hills Golf Course in Billings, MT, on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 6 and 7.
