SMITHVILLE, MO – University of Mary men's golf is now in sole possession of 8
th place at the NSIC Championships after a five-stroke improvement on day 2 of the three-day tournament.
Quinn Breidenbach move up six spots individually and is now in 11
th place.
Breidenbach had three birdies on Saturday to bring his total score to 149 (+5) through 36 holes. He is currently two strokes away from an All-Tournament Team finish.
Lucas Schoepp finished round two with a 77 (+5), bringing his total score to 153 (+9). Schoepp is currently in 26
th.
Dawson Melbo is in 29
th at 155 (+11) after a 78 (+6) on day 2.
The biggest improvement from the Marauders was seen by freshman
Payton Hiller, who moved up eight spots in the standings to 37
th after a six-stroke improvement on Saturday.
