WEST FARGO, ND — The University of Mary swimming and diving team finished the final day of the 2025 NSIC Swimming and Diving Championships in eighth place after earning 227 team points.
Samantha Sheridan took fifth place in the 1650 yard freestyle, recording a time of 17:49.30.
Gabrielle Evanson posted a time of 18:27.39 in the event to place 12
th.
The UMary "A" team of
Michaela Desmond,
Kamya Smith,
Maria Strong and
Peyton Wunderlich finished in eighth place in the 400 yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:36.81. The Marauders "B" team of
Sarah Bernasconi,
Amber Norgaard,
Katherine Ryan and
Madeline Desmond took 18
th, posting a time of 3:44.04.
Augustana University won the NSIC Championships with 944 points, followed by Minnesota State University, Mankato (879), St. Cloud State University (688.5), University of Sioux Falls (632), Concordia University, St. Paul (424.5), Minnesota State University Moorhead (327), Southwest Minnesota State University (261), UMary (227), and Northern State University (170).
