SIOUX FALLS, SD – The University of Mary swimming and diving team finished strong on the final day of the Augie Invite, earning a third-place finish with 1151 team points. UMary set five school records and posted three NCAA "B" cut times at the Invite.
The Marauders set their fifth school record of the weekend in the 400 Yard relay as the team of
Peyton Wunderlich,
Maria Strong,
Elise Altringer, and
Olivia Gibbons finished runner-up with a time of 3:29.67.
Olivia Gibbons won her second event at the Augie Invite, taking gold in the 200 Yard Breast with a time of 2:21.11.
Peyton Wunderlich took fourth in the 100 Yard Free, recording a time of 52.27.
Elise Altringer (53.93) placed 11
th.
Taylor Miller (1:01.44),
Emma Sheppard (1:02.17), and
Jordn Wolsky (1:03.25) each finished 9
th, 10
th, and 11
th in the 100 Yard IM.
Lola Sheridan finished 11
th in the 200 fly, posting a time of 2:16.28.
