BISMARCK, ND – Competing in their final meet before Christmas break, the University of Mary swimming and diving team participates in the Augie Invite. The event begins on Thursday, Dec. 4, and continues through Saturday, Dec. 6, in Sioux Falls, SD.
LAST TIME OUT
The Marauders were dominant in their 171-27 victory over Concordia College.
Olivia Gibbons set a school record in the 100 Yard Breaststroke, winning with a time of 1:05.11. She surpasses Rylie Webb's record of 1:05.79 set back in 2021.
Maria Strong,
Samantha Sheridan, and Gibbons each won two individual events. UMary took down the 200 Yard Medley Relay and the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.
GIBBONS NAMED ATHLETE TO WATCH
The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference announced that freshman
Olivia Gibbons was named the University of Mary swimmer to watch for the upcoming 2025-26 season. Gibbons won the 2023 and 2025 Montana High School Association State Championship in 100 Free. The Kalispell, MT, native was an All-State member from 2022-25.

TH IN THE NSIC
The NSIC Swimming & Diving Preseason Coaches' Poll predicted the Marauders to take seventh in the conference. Last season, UMary took eighth in the NSIC Championships.
THE STAFF
Abby Loel returns for her third year in charge of the Marauders program. She competed as a Marauder from 2018-22.
Alex Lucy returns for his second year as the Marauders assistant coach.
Carly Borrman joins the staff in her first season as assistant coach.
