JAMESTOWN, ND – After hosting the Marauders Invitational earlier this week, University of Mary men's golf will be taking part in the UJ Fall Invite. The Jamestown Country Club is the host site of tomorrow's one-day meet.
This will be the men's golf team's first trip to Jamestown. Live results
can be followed here (GGID UJFALL2025).
LAST TIME OUT
UMary opened the Marauders Invitational with its best round of the season at one under par as a team, taking a four-stroke lead into day 2. The wind picked up on the second day, and the Marauders ended the tournament in 4
th place.
However,
Quinn Breidenbach was brilliant in the windy conditions, reaching a four-way playoff after tying for the lead at 2 strokes over par. An eagle chip-in by Augustana's Derek Anderson ended the playoff on the first hole.
LOOKING BACK
UMary is coming off its most successful season since 2007, finishing 6
th at the NSIC Championships. Junior
Evan Booth was brilliant, finishing in sixth place overall and one stroke away from All-Tournament honors. As a result, Booth was named the Marauders' NSIC Athlete to Watch for this season.
PRESEASON POLL
UMary was picked to finish 9
th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches Poll. The team's personnel is largely consistent with last years, with the main difference being All-NSIC golfer

The other four NSIC point scorers (Booth,
Quinn Breidenbach,
Lucas Greenlun, and
Aiden Knodel) are back this season.
NEW FACES
The Marauders added five freshmen to bring the roster's total players to 19.
Payton Hiller,
Ryker Landers,
Zach Skarperud,
Hunter Steeves, and
David Thomson are all set to compete collegiately for the first time.
