BLUE SPRINGS, MO - The University of Mary men's golf team prepares for the NSIC Men's Golf Championships set to begin on Friday, April 19, at the Adams Pointe Golf Club in Blue Springs, MO, with tee times set for 9 am on each day.
The 56-hole tournament will conclude on Sunday, April 21, as all nine Northern Sun teams will compete for an automatic bid to the NCAA Regional tournament.

NSIC CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY
UMary has finished 8
th in the last two NSIC Championships. The Marauders placed 9
th in their inaugural 2021 season.
LAST TIME OUT
The Marauders were spectacular in the Augustana Invite as UMary finished first out of seven teams.
Evan Booth led the way for the Marauders, finishing in a tie for first with Augustana's Will Allen. The Fargo, ND, native shot a 73 on day one and an outstanding 71 on day two to finish an even par for the tournament.
Zach Johnson recorded a third-place finish after shooting +1 over par over the two days (75-71-146).
Alex Wilson rallied on day two to finish with a total score of 151, which put Wilson in a tie for fifth.
Gavin Argent (tie-10th) shot an even par on day one and finished with a two-day score of 151. Finishing off the UMary lineup was
Dawson Melbo, who tied for 19th after shooting 157 for the event.
UMARY PROJECTED TO FINISH EIGHTH IN THE NSIC
The Marauders were picked to finish eighth in the Northern Sun, according to the NSIC men's golf preseason coaches' poll. Last season, UMary finished eighth out of ten teams in the 2023 NSIC Conference Championships.
GAVIN ARGENT NAMED MARAUDERS GOLFER TO WATCH
Gavin Argent, a junior from Minot, ND, was named the Marauders Golfer to Watch by the NSIC. Argent was one of the top performers for UMary at the 2023 NSIC Championships, tying for 39th place with a total score of 237. He also performed well at the 2023 Hardrocker Spring Invitational, taking 13th with a combined score of 160.
