FARGO, ND – The University of Mary swimming and diving team (4-3) would take second at the Dragon Invite after compiling a team score of 913. UMary would finish just behind Northern State University (998) and ahead of MSU Moorhead (665), University of Minnesota Morris (482), Concordia University, St. Paul (408) and Concordia College (343).
Day two began with 200 free, which saw
Andrea Lee take second after posting a time of 1:58.82. Lee would go on to win the 1000 free with a time of 10:50.91. Lee would then take second in the 500 free (5:21.18).
Camille Merimee took home the victory in the 50 free as the freshman recorded a time of 24.98. Merimee would place fourth in the 100 back after she earned a time of 1:03.31. She finished off her day taking third in the 100 free (55.59).
Sarah Dudley took fourth place in the 100-yard breaststroke after finishing with a time of 1:14.69. Dudley would also take fifth in the 200 IM (2:26.39).
Mariapocs Ruiz Martinez finished runner-up in the 200 fly as she recorded a time of 2:25.19.
Marina Conde Revuelto placed third in the 100 IM after earning a time of 1:07.60.
Day two would wrap up with the 800-Yard Freestyle Relay as the team of
Andrea Lee,
Korie Riely,
Mady Scherwinski and
Allie Elliott won with a time of 1:55.73.
