Burnsville, MN - After posting the nation's highest jump in conference results from last year to this season, eight members of the University of Mary men's track and field team collected ten 2012 All-Northern Sun citations.
The Marauders jumped four slots in the Northern Sun standings. After an eighth place finish at the 2011 conference championships, U-Mary took an impressive leap to fourth at the NSIC meet on Saturday. No other team in NCAA Division II improved by that much.

Jesse Bennett and
Chase Dixon as both earned three All-NSIC honors. Bennett was recognized in the 1,550 and 800 meter runs while Dixon received accolades in the 100 and 400 meter hurdles. Both also were honored for their efforts in the 4x400 meter relay.
Brent Peltz earned All-NSIC recognition for the third straight year as the junior from Glen Ullin, ND, once again was the runner-up in the javelin.
