BISMARCK, N.D. – With campus bragging rights on the line and one last time to make an impression on coaches and teammates before putting the gear away until fall camp, University of Mary head football coach
Josh Kotelnicki today announced the Orange and White rosters for the Marauders Spring Game on Saturday, April 16, at the MDU Resources Community Bowl.
The Spring Game caps a big day of family friendly events leading up to the game. The second annual Marauders Football Spring Game People's Choice Competition opens the day at 11:30 a.m. More than 20 local eateries will provide free food samples to the public, who will then vote on their favorites. At the same time, the U-Mary football, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, volleyball and wrestling teams are conducting youth sports clinics.
The food, youth clinics and game are all free and open to the public.
Kickoff for the Spring Game is set for 1 p.m. and the Marauders offense will battle the U-Mary defense. The offense, which will wear Orange jerseys, and the defense, wearing White, will play for 60 minutes and conclude spring ball around 2 p.m.
Modified scoring rules will be instituted to determine the winner between the Marauders offense and defense.
The Orange squad is led by
