Teegan Olson is a junior at the University of Mary. Olson competes in cross country and track and field for the Marauders. Primarily an 800m runner, Olson has helped the men's track and field team at the NSIC conference track meets his freshman and sophomore year. At the 2016 NSIC indoor track and field meet, Olson assisted the men's distance medley relay team to a fourth place finish. At the 2016 NSIC outdoor conference meet, Olson took third place in the 800m run. Olson also scored points at the 2017 NSIC indoor conference meet in the 800m run with a sixth place finish. Olson was the 2017 NSIC outdoor conference meet runner up with a second place finish in the 800m run.

PRIOR TO UMARY
Teegan Olson was born and raised in Minot, North Dakota. Olson attended Minot High School and competed on the varsity track and field team in the spring and also competed for the Minot High varsity soccer team in the fall for the years of his high school career. Olson helped Minot High School to a fourth place finish as a senior at the 2015 state track meet by scoring points in three different events. He finished third in the 800m run, seventh in the 1600m run, and ran on the sixth place 4x800m relay team. In soccer, Olson earned all-state and all-conference honors and was named the Magicians team captain as well as their most valuable player. In addition to track, Olson will also compete in cross country for the University of Mary. A member of the National Honor Society, Teegan is the son of Jay and Tiffany Olson and plans on majoring in biology at the University of Mary.
