2017-18
As a sophomore JJ ran a personal best time in the 8000 meters of 26:31 while also being a part of the 4th place conference team and 7th place region team in 2017. During his sophomore season of outdoor track he ran a personal best time of 16:18 in the 5000 meters while missing his indoor season due to injury.

2016-17
In his freshman year at University of Mary, Jonathan Bressler ran a personal best of 9:20 in the 3000 meters and 16:23 in the 5000 meters. He also ran an outdoor personal best of 4:19 in the 1500 meters before officially becoming a full time distance runner. During his freshman season of cross country, Jonathan ran a best of 21:12 in the 6k and 27:35 in the 8k.  

PRIOR TO UMARY
2015-2016
Prior to attending the University of Mary, Jonathan moved from Williston North Dakota where he ran track and field and cross country for 2 years. He also played football at the same time that he did cross country. While participating in both sports, he managed to place 25th in the state meet his senior year. He attended and graduated from Williston Trinity Christian School in Williston North Dakota and is currently majoring in psychology while minoring in biology. He is the son of Dave and Tracy Bressler. 
 
2014-2015
All Region at the West Region Cross Country Championships (16^th place)
Member of the Elite 80 Cross Country team after a 32^nd place finish at the North Dakota State Cross Country Championships
All Region track and field in the 800 meter dash (4^th place), the 1600 meter run (3^rd place) and the 4x200 meter relay (1^st place)
 
2013-2014
All Conference Track and field in the 3200 meter run (6^th place)
All Conference Cross Country at the BHC Cross Country Championships (18^th place)
 
2012-2013
