Outdoor (Freshman)
Helped the 4x100 Relay to a 6^th place finish at the NSIC Outdoor Championships with a time of 42.59 while also placing 20^th in the 400 in a time of 51.78. Finished 2^nd at the Al Cassell Relays in the 400 dash running a 50.91 which was a season record. Member of the Al Bortke Open winning 4x400 Relay in a time of 3:25.66. Finished 3^rd at the Yellow Jacket Open in the 200 dash with a  performance of 22.70. Ran a season record in the 100 of 11.12 at the Al Bortke Open and 22.39 in the 200.
 
Indoor (Freshman)
Member of the 4x400 Relay that placed 7^th at the NSIC Indoor Championships in a time of 3:26.05 while also placing 19^th in the 200 at 23.13. Finished 2^nd in the 200 at the NDSU Tune-Up to run a season record of 22.52. Hit a season best in the 60 dash of 7.29 at the Dakota Classic.

Graduate of Hereford HS in Hereford, Texas; Track MVP at Hereford as well as a Football Captain; Was a 2x Area Qualifier, Area Finalist, and Regional Qualifier in Track; Son of Alex and Angela Lucero; Majoring in Physical Education
