BURNSVILLE, MN - The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference announced that junior middle blocker Holli Klettheimer has been named the Player to Watch for the University of Mary volleyball team for the upcoming 2026 season.

"Holli is a very explosive and competitive athlete. She continues to grow and develop in her play and as a leader on our team. I've been blessed to know her better through my time here; she loves the game, working hard, and her teammates. I'm excited to see her compete and continue to get better this fall," head coach Rob Frost said.

Klettheimer led UMary in attack percentage (.273) last season, while also contributing 150 kills. The Frankton, IN, native recorded 53 blocks, including a team-best eight solo rejections.

The 2026 NSIC Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll projected the Marauders to finish 14^th in the conference for this upcoming season. Last year, UMary finished 14^th in the NSIC after finishing the season with a 6-22 record overall and a 3-17 record against Northern Sun competition.

"We have a good group of returners we've been developing since I took over the program. We've also been able to add some great people and talent to the team. I'm excited to see them work hard and compete together this fall," Frost said.

The Marauders open their season against Montana State University Billings in the Marauders First Serve Invitational on August 27 at 6 pm in the McDowell Activity Center.
