FARGO, ND – The 24
th ranked University of Mary women's track and field team sent a small group of athletes to the Bison Open in Fargo, ND. Multiple personal bests were achieved at the meet.
Amber Rosemeier impressed in the 600m, earning a PR of 1:37.05 and finishing 3
rd. Her previous PR was set at last year's Bison Open.
Giselle Jahner set her PR in the 3000m by 33 seconds with a 10:24.84, placing 7
th (2
nd among Division II athletes).
Freshman pole vaulters
Rylee Scoular (3.01m) and
Emma Bixby (2.71m) both set PRs in the event, placing 14
th and 17
th respectively.
Makayla Allmaras was the top Division II finisher in the 60m Hurdles, placing 4
th behind a trio of UND and NDSU runners. Her time was 9.04 seconds.
Anna Nasset earned top-10 finishes in both the High Jump (6
th, 1.59m) and Triple Jump (10
th, 10.52m).
Grace Baker (8.27) and
Dani Spencer (8.47) both collected PRs in the 60m Dash.
