BISMARCK, ND – The University of Mary women's golf team is back at its home course, Hawktree Golf Course in Bismarck, ND. Tee time is 10:00 a.m. tomorrow morning as UMary looks to defend its title as Marauders Invitational Champions.
The Marauders will be one of three teams competing, joined by the University of Jamestown and Minot State University.

LAST TIME OUT
UMary was last in action two weeks ago in Wisconsin for the Maverick/Golden Bear Fall Brawl. The team placed 6
th out of 14 squads with
Sydney Miller leading the way individually in 11
th place.
LAST TIME AT HOME
UMary won the Marauders Invitational for the 2
nd time in program history, winning by 11 strokes.
Carrie Carmichael won the individual title after a two-hole playoff.
Grace Stroh and
Abby Thelen both placed in the top-10 for the event.
LOOKING BACK
The Marauders ended the year with a 10
th place finish at the NSIC Championships. Then-freshman
Annie Neva led the way with a 16
th-place finish. Following her was
Carrie Carmichael (32
nd),
Grace Stroh (41
st), and
Abby Thelen (49
th).
As a result of her strong performance, Neva was named UMary's NSIC Athlete to Watch. Neva started her collegiate career very impressively with three consecutive top-5 finishes.
GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Following her stellar performance at the Tracy Lane Memorial Invitational, sophomore
Annie Neva was named the NSIC Co-Golfer of the Week. Neva had the lowest round of any golfer in the tournament and claimed the fourth top-5 finish of her young career.
PRESEASON POLL
UMary was ranked 9
th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Marauders return most of their roster, with Stroh being the only player from the conference championship squad that is no longer with the team.
NEW FACES
Demi Bolin and
Sydney Miller were added to the team this year as first-year players. Bolin was an All-Conference golfer in Indiana. Miller was an All-State team captain of the Minnesota Class AA state champions, Detroit Lakes High School.
