JAMESTOWN, ND – After the University of Jamestown won the Marauders Invitational, University of Mary women's golf will look to return the favor at the UJ Fall Invite. The Jamestown Country Club is the host site for tomorrow's one-day tournament.

LAST TIME OUT
UMary hosted the Marauders Invitational on Monday and Tuesday earlier this week.
Carrie Carmichael led the way with a fourth-place finish as the team placed 2
nd.
LAST TIME IN JAMESTOWN
The Marauders were the runners-up at last year's UJ Fall Invite behind top-5 finishes from
Carrie Carmichael and
Annie Neva. Neva ended her second round with a birdie to secure second-place for UMary by just one stroke.
LOOKING BACK
The Marauders ended the year with a 10
th place finish at the NSIC Championships. Then-freshman
Annie Neva led the way with a 16
th-place finish. Following her was
Carrie Carmichael (32
nd),
Grace Stroh (41
st), and
Abby Thelen (49
th).
As a result of her strong performance, Neva was named UMary's NSIC Athlete to Watch. Neva started her collegiate career very impressively with three consecutive top-5 finishes.
GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Following her stellar performance at the Tracy Lane Memorial Invitational, sophomore
Annie Neva was named the NSIC Co-Golfer of the Week. Neva had the lowest round of any golfer in the tournament and claimed the fourth top-5 finish of her young career.
PRESEASON POLL
UMary was ranked 9
th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Marauders return most of their roster, with Stroh being the only player from the conference championship squad that is no longer with the team.
NEW FACES
Demi Bolin and
Sydney Miller were added to the team this year as first-year players. Bolin was an All-Conference golfer in Indiana. Miller was an All-State team captain of the Minnesota Class AA state champions, Detroit Lakes High School.
