BILLINGS, MT – The University of Mary women's golf team heads west for their second to last meet of the fall season, the Yellowjacket Invitational. Lake Hills Golf Course will be the host site on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 6 and 7.

Play will begin at 12 p.m. MT on both Monday and Tuesday as the tournament was shortened from 54 holes to 36 due to anticipated weather.

LAST TIME OUT
UMary traveled east to Jamestown on Friday, Oct. 3, to take part in the 18-hole UJ Fall Invite. Neva topped the leaderboard after tallying three consecutive birdies to end her day at 74 (+2).
Carrie Carmichael, Miller, and Bolin all followed Neva with top-10 finishes.
LAST TIME IN BILLINGS
The last time the Marauders competed at Lake Hills Golf Course was in 2022, placing third out of seven teams at the Yellowjacket Invitational.

LOOKING BACK
The Marauders ended the year with a 10
th place finish at the NSIC Championships. Then-freshman
Annie Neva led the way with a 16
th-place finish. Following her was

As a result of her strong performance, Neva was named UMary's NSIC Athlete to Watch. Neva started her collegiate career very impressively with three consecutive top-5 finishes.
GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Following her stellar performance at the Tracy Lane Memorial Invitational, sophomore
Annie Neva was named the NSIC Co-Golfer of the Week. Neva had the lowest round of any golfer in the tournament and claimed the fourth top-5 finish of her young career.
PRESEASON POLL
UMary was ranked 9
th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Marauders return most of their roster, with Stroh being the only player from the conference championship squad that is no longer with the team.
NEW FACES
Demi Bolin and
Sydney Miller were added to the team this year as first-year players. Bolin was an All-Conference golfer in Indiana. Miller was an All-State team captain of the Minnesota Class AA state champions, Detroit Lakes High School.
