LARCHWOOD, IA – The University of Mary women's golf team will compete for the final time until the spring at the USF Invitational. Grand Falls Casino and Golf Resort is the host site of the tournament in Larchwood, IA, on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 13 and 14.
UMary will be one of 13 teams at the meet with 12 Northern Sun schools represented. Senior
Carrie Carmichael will be back on the course after missing the Yellowjacket Invitational last week.
Joining Carmichael will be
Annie Neva,
Sydney Miller,
Abby Thelen, and
Demi Bolin.

LAST TIME OUT
UMary was at the Yellowjacket Fall Invitational last week, placing 7
th out of 11 teams.
Annie Neva was the team's top finisher in 15
th place.
LAST TIME IN IOWA
The Marauders placed 8
th out of 10 teams last season at the USF Invitational. Carmichael led the way in 13
th place, moving up 10 spots in the standings on the second day.
LOOKING BACK
The Marauders ended the year with a 10
th place finish at the NSIC Championships. Then-freshman
Annie Neva led the way with a 16
th-place finish. Following her was

th).
As a result of her strong performance, Neva was named UMary's NSIC Athlete to Watch. Neva started her collegiate career very impressively with three consecutive top-5 finishes.
GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Following her stellar performance at the Tracy Lane Memorial Invitational, sophomore
Annie Neva was named the NSIC Co-Golfer of the Week. Neva had the lowest round of any golfer in the tournament and claimed the fourth top-5 finish of her young career.
PRESEASON POLL
UMary was ranked 9
th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Marauders return most of their roster, with Stroh being the only player from the conference championship squad that is no longer with the team.
NEW FACES
Demi Bolin and
Sydney Miller were added to the team this year as first-year players. Bolin was an All-Conference golfer in Indiana. Miller was an All-State team captain of the Minnesota Class AA state champions, Detroit Lakes High School.
