LITCHFIELD PARK, AZ – The University of Mary women's golf team returns to the course for the first time since October to begin the spring season. The Marauders will be competing on March 16 and 17 in the SMSU Classic, which is being held at the Wigwam Resort Blue Golf Course in Litchfield Park, AZ.
UMary will be one of three NSIC teams participating, joining Minnesota State University and the hosting Southwest Minnesota State University.

Alyssa Harcharik all traveled to Arizona to represent the Marauders.
LAST TIME OUT
UMary placed 8
th out of 13 teams at the USF Invitational to close the fall season.
Carrie Carmichael led the way individually with an 8
th-place finish.
LAST TIME IN ARIZONA
The Marauders placed 13
th at last year's SMSU Classic, which was their second tournament at the course in a five-day stretch.

LOOKING BACK
The Marauders ended the year with a 10
th place finish at the NSIC Championships. Then-freshman

As a result of her strong performance, Neva was named UMary's NSIC Athlete to Watch. Neva started her collegiate career very impressively with three consecutive top-5 finishes.
GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Following her stellar performance at the Tracy Lane Memorial Invitational, sophomore
Annie Neva was named the NSIC Co-Golfer of the Week. Neva had the lowest round of any golfer in the tournament and claimed the fourth top-5 finish of her young career.
PRESEASON POLL
UMary was ranked 9
th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Marauders return most of their roster, with Stroh being the only player from the conference championship squad that is no longer with the team.
NEW FACES
Demi Bolin and
Sydney Miller were added to the team this year as first-year players. Bolin was an All-Conference golfer in Indiana. Miller was an All-State team captain of the Minnesota Class AA state champions, Detroit Lakes High School.
