Marauders earn 8th consecutive AVCA Team Academic Award

BISMARCK, ND – The University of Mary volleyball team continues to dominate in the classroom as the Marauders were named to the 2025 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Honor Roll for the 2024-25 season.

This is the eighth consecutive year UMary has received an AVCA Team Academic Award, as the Marauders finished with a team GPA of 3.70 in the 2024-25 academic year. UMary was one of 31 NCAA Division II teams named to the AVCA Academic Honor Roll and one of five teams from the Northern Sun.

The Marauders volleyball program had nine student-athletes named to the NSIC All-Academic for the fall sports season. Reyna Isenbart and Kayla Lewinski were named 2025 Myles Brand Award recipients.

To be eligible for AVCA recognition, a team must maintain a 3.30 GPA on a 4.0 scale or a 4.10 on a 5.0 scale. The additional distinction of Team Academic Honor Roll recognizes programs in the top 20% of their division's GPAs.
